You Are the Sweetest

Hello crafter's.

I hope you're all well and settling in nicely to 2024.

I'm sharing a 'sweet' (see what I did there?!) super easy card with you today. I'll talk you through it...

I trimmed down a piece of White Super Smooth 300gsm card to approx 5mm smaller round each edge than a UK A6 card blank.

In the top section of this card panel, I masked off a square. Like so:

Then, with the masked section, I blended some Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide.

I mounted this panel onto a yellow panel approx 3 mm larger round each edge using wet adhesive. Then, mounted these layers onto a UK A6 card blank using wet adhesive again.

I stamped my image and coloured it using my Copic markers, then fussy cut it. I added some gold sparkle using a gold glitter gel pen.

I stuck the lollipop down to my card using wet adhesive. Then, I stamped my sentiment.

To finish, I drew on some juicy little splashes around the lollipop. I also added some white highlight before coating the sweet part of the lollipop with some glossy accents to give it some realism.

This completes the card.
