I love nothing more than starting the year making wedding cards. It gives you something to look forward to! For this card I used:
- Papermilldirect Hammered White Card
- Papermilldirect Navy Card Blank
- Papermilldirect Rose Gold Non Shed Glitter Card
- Papermilldirect Royal Blue Pure Pearl Card
I started out by die cutting all the panels and layers for my card base alternating my colours. I used a die for some layers, and a corner punch for some others.
I then cut out all of my embellishment layers using dies. I cut out hearts of varying sizes, and a wedding couple.
I then added all of my layers onto the card base using foam tape to give lots of dimension.
I created a banner from a sentiment on the Hammered White card, and adhered this with foam tape and glue to give a dimensional effect. I added all the die cut elements on with glue to keep it understated.
I love all the subtle shimmer this cardstock gives this card. It has shimmer and shine, but it is not too in your face. The navy and gold colour combo is just fantastic also, one of my favourites!
