Hi All,
Nicole here today to share a quick Birthday card made using my favourite technique - using up scraps on my desk! For this I used:
- Papermilldirect White Linen Card
- Papermilldirect Teal Card
- Papermilldirect Smooth White Card
- Desk Scraps!
I started out with a scrap of smooth white card that was already water coloured on my desk from a previous project. I took this piece and ran it through my Silhouette machine to cut three feathers out of it. You could just die cut them also. I cut the teal and white linen panels also from scraps on my desk - this is my favourite way of tidying my desk - making a card from the remaining bits on my desk!
I used a mini stapler to attach the feathers to the white linen panel. I then mounted this white panel to the teal panel with foam tape. As a final finishing touch I added some translucent pearls using a pearl pen. These have a slight blue shimmer to them which is nice.
I stamped the birthday sentiment using an Altenew birthday sentiment set.
I hope this card inspires you to tidy your desk by making another card!!
