VW Bus Birthday Card

Hi all,

Nicole here to share a card made using a selection of Papermilldirect card to bring a card design to life. I created a VW bus using a SVG and the following:

• Papermilldirect Smooth White card
• Papermilldirect Ruby Red card
• Papermilldirect Slate Grey card
• Papermilldirect Black card
• Bus SVG file

I created a card base using white card, a grey layer, and using some patterned paper from my stash with a city map on it. I then cut each layer of the VW bus and glued it all together. I worked from the bottom up, and used a glue pen. I found it useful to use a large stamp block as a weight for a few moments between layers so that everything stuck down in place properly.

I stamped the happy birthday sentiment on the side of the bus before I glued that layer on, so that none of the layers underneath got in the way of a clean stamped image.
