If you know my card making by now then you know one of my favourite things to do is to attack my scrap card pile when it comes to making cards. For this card I attacked my scrap pile - but after rummaging through my die cut scrap pile! I found a pre-stamped Papermilldirect Hammered White circle with a perfect Christmas sentiment on it, along with a Papermilldirect Plain Black cut shape that I liked when layered up together.
I then pulled out all of my Christmassy coloured scraps and looked for some red card that would be perfect for this card. Is that not a glorious sight!
I settled on using the Papermilldirect Burgundy Sirio Pearl Merida card, and cut a panel of this for on a white card blank.
I cut a panel of patterned paper for over this.
I then added my die cut shape and sentiment on with foam tape and added on some black stars also from the off cut pile!
I ended up with a fun and slightly less traditional coloured Christmas card, using up some perfectly good offcuts!
