Spring is Coming!

Hi, Barbara here with my March calendar page. Because March is the month when the clocks go 'forward', we all think of Spring. For this reason I've chosen a very bright floral theme.

To start, and using Papermilldirect white smooth card stock, I stamped the flower images from Paperartsy, a few times, then inked them with a choice of bright coloured inks called Izinks.... These images were 'fussy-cut'.

I selected a design for placing the flowers, then adhered them to a piece of smooth black card, which fit the width of the calendar page.

I added some Ranger 'Stickles' to the centres of the flowers.

I die-cut the sentiment from a Sizzix die set, and adhered to the page.

So, quite an easy calendar page to make, but very effective, I think.
