Good Morning.
I really love making fun cards that are great for kids and big kids. I have this fun card up today which is full of monster fun.
You will need:
- Slate Grey Smooth Card 240gsm
- Black Plain Card 240gsm
- White Card Super Smooth 250gsm
- Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm
You will also need:
- Monster Stamps (Uniquely Creative)
- Zig Real Brush Markers
- Waterproof Ink Pad (My Favorite Things)
- White Embossing Powder
- Versamark ink
- Heat Gun
- White Paint
To start with I made my card base using Slate Grey Smooth Card 240gsm which I trimmed down to 4 1/8 and scored at 5 7/8 inches. I then trimmed down a smaller piece of Black Plain Card 240gsm that is a bit smaller than the card base. I mixed up my paint and made paint splashes onto the card. I used my heat gun to quickly dry the paint. I then adhered this to my card base using some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.
For the monsters I used a piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm and stamped them all with waterproof ink. I then water coloured the images in but be careful not to get the card too wet otherwise it will tear. Once dry I cut them out and adhered them to the card using some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.
I then used another piece of Black Plain Card 240gsm and heat embossed the greeting with white embossing powder. I then trimmed this down and adhered to the bottom of my card using Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.
You fun space card is now complete! You can add any embellishments or glitter if you wanted too, I think it would great with some sparkle!
