Good morning.
We all go through difficult times and sometimes its nice to say how much you care with a thoughtful card, so today I am going to show you how I created this card.
The products I used are:
- White Card Plain 250gsm
- White Card Super Smooth 300gsm
- Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm
- Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml
You will also need:
- Sentiment stamp
- Gold embossing powder
- Flower stamps
- Copic markers
- Pink pigment ink
- Yellow pigment ink
- Sponges
- Sequins
- Twine
- Clear gems
To make the card base I used a piece of White Card Plain 250gsm which I trimmed, scored and folded in half. For my front panel I cut down a piece of White Card Super Smooth 300gsm and stamped and heat embossed my sentiment. I then began adding my pigment inks around the edges of the card front with a sponge. I then adhered this onto my card front using some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.
For the flowers I used another piece of White Card Super Smooth 300gsm and stamped the flowers onto this. I then coloured them in with my markers, cut them out and placed some twine behind them before adhering the flowers down using Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.
To add the finishing details I used some clear gems and sequins which I adhered down using some Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml.
I hope you feel inspired to make a card for someone who is finding things tough, sometimes a card and the words inside will speak volumes to the recipient.
