Cardmaking with Pretty Spring Colours
Our Designer Angela Dodson has used a number of great techniques to achieve this 'Fresh as a Daisy' looking Mothers Day Card.
We've created a pretty palette of 5 Papermilldirect card colours above insipred by the card and ink colours she has chosen along with our latest special offer '300gsm Ivory Felt Embossed' card - you can pick up to 5 colours in our Small Pick and Mix Boxes - click to browse through the full range and choose your own pretty spring palette.
Project Details:
This card has been created by inking through a stencil with pigment inks to create the background. All card used is the Ivory Felt Embossed (except for a small mat of bright orange). Flowers were die cut, the centres layered, and petals shaped before being attached with 3D foam to give height and interest.
Flower centres were inked with pigment ink, then extra detail added with a small paint brush using spray inks in pumpkin pie & glorious gold.
The butterfly was created with a Punch, coloured with spray inks (Paris Pink & Glorious Gold) and then attached with 3D foam. the sentiment was stamped using a clear stamp which I masked off to just leave the letters that spell 'MUM'.
