Good Morning.
Shaker cards are great fun to make and I used some sweet stamps for this card.
The products I used are:
- Navy Plain Card 240gsm
- Pale Turquoise Plain Card 240gsm
- Raspberry Pink Plain Card 240gsm
- White Card Super Smooth 250gsm
- Powder Pink Pearlised Card 300gsm
- Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm
- Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml
You will also need:
- Sea life stamps (Pretty Pink Posh)
- Copic Markers
- Circler die
- Stitched die
- White embossing powder (WOW)
- Nuvo Drops
- Acetate
- Sequins
To start with I made my card base using a piece of Navy Plain Card 240gsm which I trimmed at 4 1\8 and scored at 5 7\8 inches. I then trimmed down a piece of Pale Turquoise Plain Card 240gsm and run this through my die cutting machine. I used a circle die and then ran a stitched die over this. Next I trimmed down a piece of Powder Pink Pearlised Card 300gsm as this will be for the back of the shaker.
I then adhered some acetate to the back of the circle on my card using some Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml. Once this was dry I used some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm and put this around the edge of the circle. I then filled this up with sequins and adhered the piece of Powder Pink Pearlised Card 300gsm to the back. I then adhered the whole piece onto my card blank with some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm. Your shaker part is now complete.
I then stamped all the images onto a piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm and coloured them in with my copics. I trimmed the images out and adhered them around the shaker part with some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.
I then used a piece of Raspberry Pink Plain Card 240gsm and heat embossed the greeting. Trim this down and adhere to your card.
To finish the card off I added some nuvo drops.
Now your fun shaker card is complete.
