Good Morning Vic here today.
I have a pretty birthday card up on the blog today using some pink and green card. To make this card you will need:
- Apple Green Card Plain 240gsm
- Baby Pink Plain Card 240gsm
- Black Plain Card 240gsm
- White Card Super Smooth 250gsm
- Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm
- Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml
Try Papermill pick & mix card and paper boxes for your card making paper.
You will also need:
- Floral Stamp (Uniquely Creative)
- Copic Markers
- Score tool and ruler
- Heat Gun
- Versamark Ink
- White Embossing Powder
- Birthday Sentiment (Uniquely Creative)
- Sequins
To start with I made my card base using a piece of Apple Green Card Plain 240gsm which I trimmed down to 4 1/4" and scored at 5 7/8 inches. I then trimmed down a smaller piece of Baby Pink Plain Card 240gsm. Using a ruler and scoring tool I added some embossed lines. I adhered this to my card base using some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.
I then stamped and coloured my floral image onto some White Card Super Smooth 250gsm and trimmed this out. I then adhered this image to the middle of my card using some more Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.
Next I heat embossed the greeting onto a piece of Black Plain Card 240gsm and adhered this onto my card.
To finish off the card I added some sequins and adhered these down using some Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml.
I hope this card inspires you to make something today.
