Pineapple Fun

Nicole here today to share a fun card I made with the beatuful new cream Hemp card. The texture on this card is beautiful and adds so much to your project. But it still allows you to stamp and ebellish as you like. I also used some of the special offer orange one sided card on this project. I started by taking a stamp set that came free with a magazine and taking the small pineapple in the set and creating my own patterned paper on the hemp card. I used coffee archival ink, and stamped off before stamping onto the card. I stamped a few pineapples in the full colour of the ink for some interest.

Once this was done I added some strips of the orange embossed card and some twine wrapped around the card.

I stamped a large pineapple from the set on the hemp card and used the matching dies to cut it out. You can see the texture of the card really well in this image.

Here is a shot of the finished card. The texture on the hemp cardstockis perfect with the pineapple stamps, but I can think of lots of more card ideas where the texture will really give a card an elegant touch.
