We have some really exciting news for you all; if you love the high quality and great customer service from Papermilldirect, you will not be disappointed.
To celebrate our news we have 10% OFF EVERYTHING this weekend, just enter GHP2016 at checkout! If that’s not exciting enough we’re also giving away some lovely craft goodies, details of how to enter at the end of the post. An exciting new direction for Papermilldirect
This month Grosvenor House Papers has acquired the famous Papermilldirect brand from James Cropper PLC.
The Warehouse and Offices of Grosvenor House Papers
Grosvenor House Papers Ltd began trading in 1949 selling paper to local businesses. It’s based just down the road from the mill in Kendal. James Cropper have been selling card and paper to us for over seventy years and we’ve built up a fantastic relationship in that time. At GHP, we have the largest range and stockholding of school exercise books & paper in the UK. We are also a major supplier of Arts & Crafts materials online and in our on-site craft shop. We supply schools, local authorities, businesses and sell direct to consumers.

The company is owned by husband & wife, Keith & Janet Young and fellow director Chris Tague, who are all very hands-on. Keith has worked for the business for 41 years and Chris is responsible finance and operations. Janet is a keen crafter and heads up the on-site craft shop. She has a great deal of experience in the craft industry and has been running craft workshops for over 10 years, she’s also a very talented designer.

No need to worry about the quality! We know that Papermilldirect customers choose card and paper from the mill for a specific reason. Papermilldirect cardstock is without doubt the best quality on the market and it’s why we jumped at the opportunity to take it on. The card and paper will continue to be made at the James Cropper Mill and with the additional space and resources available we envisage your favourite brand of card and paper will grow from strength to strength.
“At GHP we hope to be able to offer a bigger and better selection of not only card and paper on the website, but also craft supplies and tools. You can rely on us for great customer service too, we know how important it is for you to get your orders ASAP!” - Keith Young
We’re keen to get the transition right, so whilst the offering at Papermilldirect won’t be changing overnight, you can look forward to new paper products and craft supplies appearing online in the coming months.
