A 12x12" Cutting Mat
We recommend taking a look at our Pearl 12x12" Pick & Mix Box
We've used a cutting file from Creative Fabrica
Here's the link to the file we used https://www.creativefabrica.co... but look through their website, there's plenty to choose from!
Creative Fabrica refers to this cutting file as a Shadow Box on their site.
Let's get started!
First you will need to download your cutting file.
Creative Fabrica is a digital assets website that offers a variety of different subscriptions for their creative assets. If you're a little unsure then try out their Free Trail (10 free downloads). Follow the link below: https://www.creativefabrica.co...
Once you have downloaded your file you will then need to add it to your project page.
We sized our project to fit the entire page of the 12"x12" card, once I had each image set up on it's own page and all the same size I sent it off to cut.
Whilst you're waiting for the first image to cut you can prepare your other pages depending on how many cutting mats you have.
The setting we used to cut Pure Pearl Card on a Silhouette Cameo:
We used the presets for Glitter card then increased the Blade Depth, passes and decreased the speed.
Blade Depth - 8
Passes - 3
Force - 33
Speed - 2
I used an AutoBlade when cutting my Pure Pearl Card.
After all the images were cut I started adding my 3D foam tape to the back side of the card.
You may want to cut some of your 3D Foams into smaller pieces to support any places that are thin and flimsy or you could use the 3D foam squares if you want to save your scissors!
Once you have attached your foam tape to one side of your card the next step is to start placing the pieces on top of each other!
There you go!
A beautiful Mother's Day Layered Picture that your Mum, Gran, Step-Mum, Mother-in-law, Aunty, or anyone else who you look up to and love will adore!
