Good Morning,
Who doesn't love cake and a cute monster on a card..
To make this card I used:
- Acquamirine Nettuno Linen Effect Card 280gsm
- White Card Super Smooth 300gsm
- Black Plain Card 250gsm
- New Lilac Smooth Card 240gsm
- Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm
- Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml
You will also need:
- Monster stamp
- Copic Markers
- White embossing powder
- Heat gun
- Sequins
- Enamel dots
For the card base I used some Acquamirine Nettuno Linen Effect Card 280gsm which I cut down, scored and folded in half. I really love this beautiful card its so pretty and has a slight texture too.
I then got a piece of White Card Super Smooth 300gsm and stamped the monster image and cake. I used my copic pens to colour them in. I then cut the images out.
I heat embossed the greetings with some white embossing powder onto a piece of Black Plain Card 250gsm, trimmed this down and adhered to the card base with some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm. I then done the same with the monster and cake.
To finish the card off I added some sequins and enamel dots which I adhered down with Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml.
I made the envelope with some New Lilac Smooth Card 240gsm.
This is great for anyone who loves monsters and cake. I hope you have fun using this tutorial for your fun birthday cards.
