Hi everyone it's Stacey. I've had the Christmassy feeling this week so thought I'd craft a mini leafy wreath. I created a leaf template svg to cut my greenery and used a craft punch to produce the small red flowers. I got my craft punch from eBay. There's absolutely loads to choose from if you search flower craft punches.
This was the first time I'd crafted a small scale piece and I must admit it requires a lot of patience and time but truly worth it.
Papers used:
Intensive red 160gsm and dark green 240gsm.
I used Mod Podge glue to stick everything together and I'll be leaving it over night to fully dry out (I may have been a little glue happy and went overboard to secure it). Once fully dry I plan on tying a piece of twine through a suitable hole in the leaves so I can hang it up at Christmas.
The small flowers can be tricky to glue down so if you plan on making your own I would recommend using a pair of craft tweezers when attaching the flowers.
Happy Christmas crafting everyone.
