Milk Carton Advent Calendar

Hello everyone, Sylvia here to show you my blue and white themed Advent Calendar. The calendar is made up of 25 small milk carton boxes and a base to hold them. The milk carton boxes are great for holding a few treats, ideal for a group of children, grandchildren or adults to open and enjoy each day until Christmas Day.
The boxes and base were cut using the Silhouette Cameo and a Lori Whitlock cutting file, white and blue with snowflakes was chosen for the theme. The boxes were cut from Papermilldirect white linen and marine blue card, as were the number tags and base. If you don't own a cutting machine try making boxes using a scoreboard to make boxes or bags for an Advent Calendar.
Each box was stamped with Stampers Anonymous snowflake stamps and heat embossed, clear over blue ink on the white boxes and white over embossing ink on the blue boxes. To get the stamping identical on all boxes, I used a stamping platform. The boxes were assembled, filled with chocolates then fastened with a number tag and ribbon.
Looking forward to next month when we can start opening the milk cartons to count the days to Christmas.
