I think we all agree that cards for men are hard. So what about those milestone birthdays? They are even harder! For this card I decided to let the numbers do the talking. On this card I used:
- Papermilldirect Hammered White card
- Papermilldirect Hammered White card blank
- Papermilldirect Chocolate Brown Pure Pearl card
- Patterned paper
- Number die
- Banner die
- Altenew birthday stamps
- Alphabet stamps
I started by cutting a panel of the Hammered White card to mat onto the Hammered White card blank.
On top of this layer I added a piece of patterned paper, die cut using a banner die. Over the top of this I then added a smaller size of the banner die, using the Chocolate Brown card.
I then created my sentiment banner. I stamped out my birthday greeting on a piece of Hammered White card, and measured out the space I needed for my numbers. I then stamped the 'th' in after this space. I die cut the numbers from the Chocolate Brown card and then added them into the space left for them.
I added my sentiment piece across the top of the banners and added in some black gems for a bit more interest. Keeping it simple in darker tones works for a card for a man, and the numbers celebrate the milestone birthday front and centre!
