Mermaid Love Card

Good Morning.

I love making colourful and fun cards and I thought it would be great to make a mermaid card with some extra sparkle.

The products I used are:

Copic Markers
Background stamp (My Favorite Things)
Glitter embossing powder (WOW)
White embossing powder (WOW)
Versamark ink pad
Heat gun
Nuvo Drops
Clear gems

Mermaid

To make my card base I used a piece of Grigio Nettuno Linen Effect Card 280gsm which I scored and folded in half. I then cut down a piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm and I stamped the background stamp in Versafine ink and added the glitter embossing powder. I then heat set this with my heat gun and adhered to my card base with some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.

I then stamped and coloured the images onto some White Card Super Smooth 250gsm and cut them out. I adhered them onto my card with some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.

For the greeting I heat embossed some white embossing powder onto a piece of Slate Grey Smooth Card 240gsm and adhered this to my card front.

To finish the card off I added some pink nuvo drops and some clear gems. You can add any embellishments that you like and I think this would look great with some sequins too.
