Hi, Barbara back with another very quick & tutorial, using lots of matting and layering to make a large card. Handy if you want a lot of people to sign, ie. a leaving card, retirement, etc.
I started off by cutting 4 varying sizes of Papermilldirect white hemp card, and corresponding 'mats' from the same coloured card as the inks I was using.
I then stamped my image onto the smallest piece of white, with Versamark ink, and heat-embossed with white embossing powder.
I inked around the image with Adirondack Inks, just to make the colours 'pop'.
A few gems, and a small sentiment stamped onto black smooth card, finished off the top layer...... A bit of matting & layering to finish , and I ended up with a large 8"x8" card.
The texture of the white hemp cardstock really shows up when you leave lots of 'white space.
Hope you have a good crafty day,
Barbara x
