Good morning Vic here today. I have a really cute valentines day card to share with you today.
You will need:
- White Card Super Smooth 250gsm
- Rich Cream Card Hammered 255gsm
- Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml
- Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 18mm
You will also need:
- Tree background die (Uniquely Creative)
- Bear stamp (Honeybee Stamps)
- Copic Markers
- Distress Inks and sponges
- Mushroom stamps (Spellbinders)
- Grass edge die
- Sequins
To start with I made my card base using a piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm that I tried down and scored I half to make my card base. I then used another piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm that is trimmed down to the size of the card, this is the pice that we will be ink blending on.
I started gently ink blending the inks onto the card front until my colour was built up. I adhered this onto my card base. Using another piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm I die cut the trees and adhered to the card with some PVA glue.
Next I used a piece of Rich Cream Card Hammered 255gsm and run this through my die cutting machine using the grass edge die. I then added some light brown ink to the top of these to add a bit more colour. I then trimmed these down and adhered to the card.
Using some more White Card Super Smooth 250gsm I stamped the images and coloured them in with my comic markers. I then trimmed the image out and adhered to my card. I added the mushrooms and also stamped the greeting and adhered this to the top of the card.
To finish the card off I added some sequins.
