Good Morning Vic here today.

Christmas is fast approaching and I thought it may be helpful to show you how I started my Christmas cards.

My tip is to make a card early and just one to start with as it can sometimes be overwhelming.

A2

For this card you will need:

You will also need:

  • Animal Stamps (Waffle Flower Crafts)
  • Copic Markers
  • Acetate
  • Sequins
  • Rectangle Die
  • Embossing Folder (Fun Stampers Journey)

To make my card base I trimmed down a piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm. I trimmed this at 4 1/8 inches and scored at 5 7/8 inches. I then trimmed down another piece that I embossed with a embossing folder. This will be peeking through your window shaker card.

Next I trimmed down a piece of Perla Sirio Colour Card 290gsm that is the same size as my card front. I used my rectangle die to make a window. I then adhered acetate over the back of this and added foam tape all around the edges. Fill the inside with sequins and adhere to your card.

Next I stamped and coloured all the images onto a piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm and trimmed them out. I adhered them onto the card front.

To finish off the card I heat embossed the greeting onto a piece of Lampone Sirio Colour Card 290gsm. I used white embossing powder and trimmed this down. I adhered this onto my card using Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.

I hope this will inspire you to make a start on your Christmas cards.
