First you'll need a card blank. I was conscious that the background die I would be using was a US size a2, so I cut my blank using Intensive Blue 210gsm card to 4.25in x 5.5in. Set this aside for later.
I used a buzz word sentiment stamp with matching die. I personally find in this instance that it is easier to stamp the word, then align the die for die cutting.
Then, I used some generic fine liner pens to colour the images on the letters. Fine liners are ideal for smaller images due to their small tip and controlled ink flow, as oppose to alcohol markers for example, which are far broader and juicier.
I then cut the background from White 250gsm card using my chosen die. Any simple solid background die would suffice. I adhered this using wet glue to my card blank.
For the second complimentary sentiment, I used a stamp from the same set as the 'Hugs' stamp. I heat embossed this by preparing a piece of the Intensive Blue cardstock with an anti static bag. Then, stamped the sentiment with a Versamark Ink pad, before covering with some Fine Detail White Embossing Powder shaking off the excess and heat setting with my heat tool.
Finally, I set the 'hugs' letters and the complimentary sentiment down using a 2mm foam tape.
I finished with some full cup sequins for added sparkle.
That is quite simply, it!
Until next time, take care.
