Good morning.
I have this super sweet Christmas card and I have used the Acquamirine Nettuno Linen Effect Card 280gsm as the main colour on this card. Its absolutely gorgeous and has a lovely texture too.
The products I used are:
- Acquamirine Nettuno Linen Effect Card 280gsm
- White Card Hemp 255gsm
- Ruby Red Plain Card 240gsm
- Pink Plain Card 290gsm
- White Card Super Smooth 300gsm
- Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml
- Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm
You will also need:
- Christmas greeting stamps
- Polar bear stamps
- Copic markers
- Sequins
- White embossing powder
- Heat gun
- Snow embossing folder
For the card base I used a piece of White Card Hemp 255gsm which I cut at 4 1/4 and scored at 5 1/2. I folded this in half, then I cut down a piece of Acquamirine Nettuno Linen Effect Card 280gsm and trimmed this so that it is a bit smaller than the card base. I run this through my cuttlebug machine with a snow Christmas embossing folder. I then adhered this onto my card base using some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.
I stamped my images onto some White Card Super Smooth 300gsm and coloured them in with copic markers. After cutting the image I then adhered this onto the card front using Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.
I then got a piece of Ruby Red Plain Card 240gsm and heat embossed my greeting using white embossing powder and also embossed another greeting onto some Black Plain Card 250gsm. I adhered this using some more Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.
To finish off the card I added some sequins and adhered this using Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml.
I hope you enjoy using this tutorial for your Christmas cards.
