Hello Floral Card (Pantone 2020 Colour)

Good morning Vic here today.

If you follow Pantone they have said that the colour for 2020 is classic blue so I've used some gorgeous Blu Sirio for this card.

To make this card you will need:

• Perla Sirio Colour Card 290gsm
• Blu Sirio Colour Card 290gsm
• Orchid Double Sided Pearlised Card 300gsm
• Sage Sirio Pearl Double Sided Card 300gsm
• White Card Super Smooth 250gsm

You will also need:

• Flower Stamps (Uniquely creative tropicana)
• Hello die (Uniquely Creative)
• Markers (Spectrum Noir)
• Embossing folder (Fun Stampers Journey)
• Leaf Dies (Trimcraft)

To make my card base I trimmed down a piece of Perla Sirio Colour Card 290gsm and scored in half. I then trimmed down a smaller pice of the Blu Sirio Colour Card 290gsm that's smaller than the card base. I then embossed some stripes and adhered this to the card base.

Next I used some Sage Sirio Pearl Double Sided Card 300gsm and using some leaf dies I die cut some leaves out and placed them aside.

I then used a piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm to stamp the flowers onto. I coloured them in with my spectrum noir markers and trimmed them out.

I then adhered the leaves and flowers across the middle of the card using foam tape.

Next I die cut the word hello using some Orchid Double Sided Pearlised Card 300gsm. I adhered this to my card using PVA glue.

To finish off the card I added some clear drops.

What do you think of Pantone's colour for 2020? I personally love the colour of papermilldirect's Blu Sirio Colour Card 290gsm. Its a great colour for masculine cards too.
