Hello, It’s Angela here to share a ‘Hello’ card design with you. The sun has been shining here at the seaside and I thought it would be fun to make an Ice Lolly card. For this card I am using one of the new PMD ready-made card blanks and an envelope, here’s the step by step:
Using the ice lolly die from the set, die-cut shapes from PMD Cream, Baby Pink & Celestial Blue A4 card. Snip into shapes to separate sections and layer up using clear drying glue to create 3 multi-colour ice lollies.
Paint over each ice lolly using a clear sparkle pen, leave to dry, then repeat with sparkle pen to build up sparkle as desired.
Cut 130mm x 90mm PMD White Hemp Card and paint 3 stripes of watercolour using 3 colours of Aqua Tint pens and leave to dry or dry with a heat tool.
Place the ‘hello’ die from the set into the lower right corner of the water coloured panel, use lpow tack tape to hold in place if required and die cut. Keep the waste letters.
Mat water coloured & die cut panel onto a slightly larger panel of PMD Celestial Blue card, the blue will show through the ‘hello’, carefully glue the centre of the ‘O’ back in using the waste letters.
Adhere completed panel onto a PMD A6 Baby Pink Card Blank using d/s tape and glue.
Glue the Ice Lolly shapes in a row starting at the left hand side using clear drying glue.
To finish, embellish card with sprinkle shapes as desired in pastel colours using a clear drying glue to adhere. A matching PMD C6 Peel & Seal envelope in Baby Pink creates a co-ordinated set.
