Hi, its Reena here, brand new to the design team and I can't wait to share with you my crafty makes using the wonderful Papermill Direct card making paper and craft supplies
What better way to say hello than with this autumn inspired card.
You will need:
- White card super smooth
- Ruby Red card
- Apple Green card
- Dark Green card
- Daiquiri Cocktail Double sided pearl card
- Mandarin Orange card
- Buff card
- Anita's PVA tacky glue
You will also need:
- Hello stamp (or any other sentiment stamp)
- Gold embossing powder
- Leaf dies
- Leaf embossing folder
- Twine
- Embellishments
For the card base I folded an A4 Buff card in half to make a A5 card base. I then trimmed down a smaller piece of white card to make my card front.
With the various coloured card I decided to cut out a variety of leaf dies. I wanted to add some interest to the die cut leaves, so I used one of my embossing folder's with a leaf pattern. Simple place them in the folder and run through your die cutting machine. This is a great way to add some texture to your die cut pieces.
Next I arranged the die cut leaves onto the card front using Anita's PVA tacky glue. I chose a a slightly random format, but you could easily arrange into a wreath format.
I then heat embossed my sentiment with gold embossing powder. I tied a piece of twine into a small bow and adhered just under the sentiment with a gem in the middle for some sparkle using Anita's PVA tacky glue. I then added some gold sequins.
Finally I adhered the card front to the Buff card base with foam tape.
I hope you enjoyed my first card and this has given you some autumnal inspiration!
