He loves me, he loves me not

With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, I've been looking at alternative options to the traditional rose. So this week I've been making some pretty paper flowers for playing the game 'He loves me, he loves me not'. Each petal is attached with a teeny amount of glue for easy pulling. I designed my flowers around the oxeye daisy, the "he loves me, he loves me not" flower that is typically used to play the game. I used two papers from Papermilldirect to make each flower: Daffodil Yellow 240gsm and White Card Super Smooth 250gsm, both are great card stocks to work with. I adore the vibrancy of the yellow, which is my favourite colour, and the crisp white card compliments it lovely.
They'd make a sweet little gift which you could alter the message on to say: "He loves me, he loves me lots" or you could write your own personal little messages on each petal. So this year why not make a loved one a personalised paper flower with small messages of love, something they can cherish for a long time. The ideal Valentine's Day craft idea.
Happy crafting everyone!
