Hello, Sylvia here to wish you all a very Happy New Year.
Have you made any resolutions this year? My resolution is to use all the dies and stamps bought last year which I have not used yet. I would resolve not to buy any new craft goodies until I have used what I have but this promise would soon be broken, as soon as I saw new craft items in the shops!
Here are two New Year cards I made with my resolution in mind. I used two die sets bought last year, the bubbles and stars on the black card and the stencil numbers on the navy card. Both cards can be adapted for other occasions by using different colours, sentiments and card sizes. I especially like the black card design for male cards
Materials used:
- apermilldirect card blanks Navy Square and Black DL, smooth black card 250gsm, navy plain card 240gsm, white linen card 255gsm, amber sparkle print card 300gsm, amber lustre print 100gsm paper and silver sandgrain card.
- Dies - Tim Holtz alterations mixed media and stencil numbers, Crafter's Companion Cheers sentiment and Elizabeth Craft Designs stitched stars.
- Sentiment stamp Marianne Designs
- Gold embossing powder
Again I wish you all a very happy, prosperous and fun filled year.
Sylvxx
