Hello! I love using purple on my cards and I thought it would be fun to show you how I added three different shades to my card.
The products I used are:
- White Card Super Smooth 300gsm
- White Card Hopsack 255gsm
- New Lilac Smooth Card 240gsm
- Violet Plain Card 290gsm
- Dark Violet Plain Card 240gsm
- Pink Plain Card 290gsm
- Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml
- Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm
You will also need:
- A stamped image
- Marker pens
- Heat gun
- White embossing powder
- Sequins
- Twine
To make the card base I used a piece of White Card Super Smooth 300gsm which I cut in half, scored and folded. I then cut down a piece of New Lilac Smooth Card 240gsm which I adhered to the base. I then cut down a piece of White Card Hopsack 255gsm and adhered this using Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml.
I then coloured in my stamped image which was stamped onto White Card Super Smooth 300gsm. I used my copic markers for this and this card is perfect for alcohol markers, it doesn't bleed at all. My image was then adhered using some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm onto my card front.
For the hello there heat embossed greeting I used a piece of Violet Plain Card 290gsm and also heat embossed another greeting onto a piece of Dark Violet Plain Card 240gsm. I then trimmed this down and adhered this to the top of my card using some more Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm. I then added some sequins and twine.
To finish the card off I made an envelope using a piece of Pink Plain Card 290gsm.
You can have lots of fun experimenting with different colours of card. I hope you have fun creating a card from the same colour family.
Have a nice day!
