Hi All,
Nicole from Mullen Crafts here to share a quick card made using some beautiful shades of blue Papermilldirect card! I have used:
- Marine Blue Smooth from the regular card line
- Pale Blue card from the special offer line
- Silhouette stamps
- Kuratakai Gansai Watercolours
- Watercolour card
I stamped all my silhouette stamp images in archival black ink as it doesn't react with ink once dry. The stamped panel has been die cut with a deckled edge rectangle that I just made longer by selective die cutting.
I then did some really messy watercolouring, allowing colours to bleed out and being really rough and outlining the areas very widely. I didn't want this to look perfect, I was going for an imperfect look.
Once this dried I adhered the painted panel onto a marine blue deckled edge panel.
I then adhered this down onto the pale blue card base and adhered this all onto a marine blue panel, then onto a white card base. I love the combination of the two blues together, it makes for a very calming and relaxing card!
