Hello again, Barbara here with a couple of ideas for Wedding Stationery.......
Professional stationery is very expensive, costing upwards of £1,000 so if you can trim a few pounds off by making your own handcrafted goods, all the better.
Today I have 2 'Save The Date' cards to show using only Papermilldirect card stock and a couple of dies.
Most crafters have a die-cutting machine of some sort, I'm using the Big-shot Plus on my work at the moment. The dies I've used will go through ANY machine.
The first sample is a very simple rectangle shape, using the brand new 'sparkle' and white 'hopsack'
The details were computer-generated.
The little birds die is from 'Apple Blossom'
The next 'Save The Date' has the same 'birds' die with a round base, using a die from Spellbinders.
I started by cutting a circle out of 'sparkle' card, a smaller circle from 'hemp' and the 'birds' also from sparkle. I only cut a small part of the die from green, as I only wanted to use it for the branch.
The sparkle print cuts beautifully in the Big-Shot
The sentiment was computer generated as in the previous sample.
Well that's it for today, back soon with a couple of wedding invitations,
Please leave a comment if you feel this post is useful.
