How to make a Halloween treat bag
Hi everyone,
Nicole here to share a fun gift tag that doubles as a way to give a little halloween treat. This is very easy to make and you don't need any special supplies. I used:
- Papermilldirect Intensive Orange Card
- Papermilldirect Intensive Black Card
- Papermilldirect Grey Pearlised Card (Special Offer)
- Halloween stamps
- Inks
- Treats
I started by using a Tim Holtz die to cut a die stape. I did a selective cutting technique to make the tag longer than it would normally be, and this left me with the tag top on bot ends. This was fine though, as I was just able to trim off one of the ends to the length I wanted. You could just cut a die shape by hands and use a hold punch for the center hole if you don't have a die.
Once I had trimmed it to size I folded up the end of the tag to create a pocket.
I decorated this with the black and pearlised silver card, along with stamping in Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink to give a cool tone on tone look to it. I added a label I die cut from the same Tim Holtz tag die, and used a alphabet stamp to stamp Boo! on it. you can see the colour of the card better in this image, and also the cool shimmer on the grey card. I love this stuff!
And here is the completed tag. I added some black and orange twine to the top.
I put some Halloween lollypops in and it was ready to hand out as fun party treats!
