We've collected together some of our favourite gold leaf wedding stationery ideas. Gold leaf is a little fiddly to use but the effects are well worth taking a little extra time.
Isn't this pretty! It would probably take some practice before you get a really good finish, but what a pretty effect, everyone will love your luxurious gold leaf wedding stationery. There's a tutorial over on The Pretty Blog to make your own.
These place cards look really easy to make, but are very striking. Not gold leaf but copper leaf has been used here. The calligraphy looks great too, you could print onto the tags if unable to write your own names. You can find the tutorial to make these here on Whimsical Wonderland Weddings (what a fab name for a blog!)
We love the rustic, aged look of these place cards, with just a hint of antique glamour from the addition of random highlights of gold leaf - we spotted this from designer Charlotte Glynn on Pinterest.
Have you ever thought of gilding the edges of your card? It's a great effect, makes your stationery look very luxurious. There's a tutorial showing you exactly how to make a gilded edge with gold leaf over on the blog Damask Love
This is an absolutely stunning DIY gold leaf wedding invitation idea. With a rough edge to the front of the invitation a strip of gold leaf peeps through from the inside of the card.
