Father’s Day Tool Box Gift Card Holder
Hello it’s Angela here to share another make with you. This week the Design Team are working on the theme of Father’s Day and ways to present Gift Vouchers or Gift Cards. I have made a Tool Box themed gift card holder using my Cricut Explore and a cutting file. The cutting set includes a variety of different file types and so can be used with most cutting machines and you could also print the PDF pages if you wish to cut by hand. (There are approx. 11 different shaped gift card holders included within the set, so plenty to choose from)
Step by Step Guide to Gift Card Holders
Easy-peasy, just download your files and upload to your cutting machine software, I’m using Design Space for my Cricut Explore and found the files imported at their correct size so you don’t even need to resize them.
Choose your Papermilldirect cardstock colours, load the mats and cut. I am using PMD Ruby Red, Post Box Red and Marine Blue for the tool box part. PMD Grey, Black, Buff and Daffodil Yellow for the tools.
When all the pieces are cut it’s simply a case of folding on the score lines to create the pocket for your gift card, and layering up the simple shapes to complete the design. I used cosmic shimmer clear drying glue to adhere the layers.
When the main part is finished, just print off your choice of Sentiment from the PDF sheets, cut out and attach. I choose ‘Happy Father’s Day’ and printed off onto PMD White Linen cardstock before gluing to front of tool box design.
This is a really easy project and perfect for batch making, all the instructions are included and you can experiment with different colour combinations and sentiments.

Ruby Red, Post Box Red, Marine Blue, Grey, Black, Buff, Daffodil Yellow card – Papermilldirect
White Linen card – Papermilldirect
Cosmic Shimmer clear drying glue
