I wanted to make a birthday card that was clean and simple but still elegant. I used a colour combination that I have not often used before on this card, and I feel that it really worked. On this card I used:
- Papermilldirect Buff card
- Papermilldirect White Plain card
- Papermilldirect White card blank
- Patterned paper
I used the buff card to die cut the bird on branch die. I then cut a panel of buff card and a panel of patterned paper in green spotted paper. I cut another layer of buff card and layered a striped panel of patterned paper for on this. It was on top of this panel I placed the birds. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of white plain card, and cut a banner of patterned paper to make this pop from on the striped panel. To top this all off I added some green enamel dots.
I think it ended up looking very elegant, and the green and buff card combination works very well together!
