Hi everyone, Barbara here again with 3 Easter cards I've made, using stamps and coloured pencils. Now I am the first to admit that my colouring skills are ZERO, but these pencils make the job so much easier.
I started off with a few pieces of white hemp card which had been cut to 5.5 x 4" then went on to stamp my images, using an 'Easter' set from Heartfelt Creations. Using the coloured pencils, I roughly filled the images with colour, not taking too much care.
Next step was to use my aquabrush to draw the colour into the image. I went along and did all the colouring before moving on.
Once I was happy with the colours, I mat & layered onto various colours of Papermilldirect card ....I mainly use black, but I just love the bright spring colours that are available too. The layers were then added to a hemp base, made using 1 x A4 sheet of card, folded and trimmed.
This is a close-up of the image after I'd added some Ranger 'Stickles' to it. (I love a bit of glitter!)
So, three different cards from one set of stamps. The flowers would have been easy to decoupage, but that's maybe for another day.
Hope you like them.
The stamp set is shown below.
Catch you all soon,
Barbara.
