Hi everyone, Stacey here. I've really enjoyed crafting garden themed items this week and cutting blades of grass and as always paper flowers. I've particularly enjoyed crafting with Papermilldirect's sparkle range. This time I've used the colours Lustre Print Silver Misty Rose 300gsm and Amarillo Lustre Print Silver Card 300gsm to cut mini paper flowers. I'm in the process of making a range of wedding table decorations for my own wedding and I decided I would jazz up some of my miniature milk bottle vases.
I used two shades of green to cut the grass - Apple Green Card Plain 240gsm and Dark Green Plain Card 240gsm.
Using a hot glue gun, I attached the grass to the milk bottles. I added one long layer of dark green to one vase and I glued two mid length strips of grass to the lighter green vase.
All the flowers and grass were cut using my Cricut machine. I used tweazers to apply the small circle centrepieces and to attach each flower to the vase. The centrepiece of the flower is made using Glaze Gold Lustre Print Chroma Paper 100gsm. You really should check out the range on the website, it's beautiful! So many colour options and an added bonus of matching envelopes.
You can decorate them with anything you fancy, or theme them to rooms/events or match with the flowers you pop in them. I do think they look rather pretty garden themed.
You can pick up the milk bottle vases from Hobbycraft, link here.
Hope you all have fun decorating your own. Please do share your creation so we can see them. I'd love to see your personalised bottles.
