Hi All,
Nicole here with you today to share how I made this cute little teacher appreciation gift box. I used:
- Kawaii Apple cutting file from SVG Cutting Files
- Special offer Papermilldirecr Marble Green Card
- Special offer Papermilldirect Marble White Card
- Papermilldirect Kraft Card
- Papermilldirect Apple Green card
- Adhesive
I used a box cut file from the Silhouette store (it was a free file that came with the software) to cut a box base from the Marbled white card.
I cut rectangles of the Marble Green card to mat onto this before I assembled it.
I then glued the box together wth glossy accents so that it was nice and strong.
I cut out the apple from SVG Cutting Files in a combination of Marble Green, Apple Green, and Kraft.
I assembled it all with Glossy Accents.
I added a stem and leaf on the back as this would be seen also. I added a strip of foam tape on the back also. I marked with a pencil a line on which not to apply the foam tape above, this let me know where the box stopped.
I then stuck the apple to the front of the box.
I filled the box with a bax of jelly beans as a treat and it was done! This marbled card is fantastic to work with as it is so heavy weight, it makes amazing boxes, and the apple decoration came out amazingly strong and sturdy.
