Hello
I’m currently using a lot of Lilac and purple as I’m prepping for a bridal show .
Today I’m going to walk you through creating a paper flower hydrangea ball.
Materials needed
- Intensive Lilac Plain Card 210gsm.
- 1 inch pearl pins.
- A length of ribbon.
- Tacky glue.
- 10 inch Polystyrene ball .
- Hot melt glue gun.
- Cricut explore.
First you cut out your mini flowers using either at cutting machine i use Cricut or Using a floral punch.
I used 5 A4 sheets of each colored card.
Prep the cut petals / flowers by curling each petal in .
Your now ready to start assembling your ball.
Layer the prepped petals, one on to of another.
Pierce the layer card with the 1 inch pin, dip in the tip into the the tacky glue and put it into the polystyrene ball ensuring you push the pin all the way in.
You will also need to find a convenient spot to attach your ribbon using you hot melt glue gun.
This process you need to follow till the whole ball is covered
This might take you a good number of hours but I promise the finished product will be worth it . These balls are a brilliant alternative to fresh flowers, perfect for chair decor or Table center pieces , on this occasion i'm using it to decorate a chair.
Bye for now.....
