Hi Everyone
This week I was tasked with creating a bespoke gift box for a client with a gift topper that had a wow factor ....
Material used
- Cutting mat
- Good Pair of Scissors
- White beads on a roll
- Round paper mache box 30cm
- Daler and Rooney graduate acrylic paint white
- A6 sized intensive lilac plain card 210gsm
- Purple netted ribbon .
First your going to need to prep and paint your box and lid .
You will also need to create a unique center for this gift topper, i'm using white beads on this occasion.
It’s going to need a few layers of paint and it’s going to take a few days of trial and error to achieve the look your want ..
Now you need to create your gift topper .
Roll your card into a cone like this . Your going to need to roll up about 30 - 35 of these .
You use your hole punch to cut one circle of card . Place each cone on the circular card , working around the edges till there’s no space left .
Now work through a second layer and then a third. For this topper I’m only going to do three layers but you really could keep on going till you close this up completely.
Now pop your pre prepared center in the middle of your topper. Stick the topper to the prepped box
