Good Morning,
I am in love with the Clay Materica card its so soft and pretty. To make this card you will need:
- Clay Materica Card 250gsm
- Black Plain Card 250gsm
- White Card Super Smooth 300gsm
- Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm
- Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml
You will also need:
- A flower stamp
- Zig brush markers I used the following colours:
- 071,052,070,080,045,025,081,030,041,026,060
- Versafine ink
- Black embossing powder
- White embossing powder
- Heat gun
- Sequins and enamel dots.
To make the card blank I used a piece of Clay Materica Card 250gsm which I trimmed down, scored and folded in half.
I then used a piece of White Card Super Smooth 300gsm and stamped my image with Versafine ink and added black embossing powder over the top. I heat set this so that when I started to watercolour the image the colours won't run as this will act like a wall. Just be sure not to add lots of water as you colour the image in.
After colouring I cut the image out and adhered this onto my card base with some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.
I then heat embossed my sentiment onto some Black Plain Card 250gsm with white embossing powder. I trimmed this down and adhered to the card.
To finish my card off I added some sequins and enamel dots. I also used some twine at the back of the flower image.
I really do love the Clay Materica Card 250gsm it will work with most colours too.
I hope you have fun making this card.
