Cards for men can always be a bit tricky, but if they have a hobby or a passion it can be great to play on that then it can be very useful. That is exactly what I did on this card - it was for a computer obsessed gentleman, who loves computers in all forms! The cardstockused included:
Papermilldirect Pale Turquoise Card
Papermilldirect Pale Turquoise Card Blank
Papermilldirect Black Plain Card
Papermilldirect Royal Blue Pure Pearl Card
Computer cut file SVG from PrintableCuttableCreatables
I gathered all my elements and started to build my computer file from my elements. I didn't want my computer to just be a typical black computer monitor and keyboard so I brought in the Blue Pearl card to bring in a dark blue to brighten it up a bit.
Before I stuck down my layers I wanted to dress up the background a little. I took a star stamp and used Peacock Feathers Distress Ink and used it as a tone on tone to add a pattern to the Pale Turquoise card.
Once this was done I layered all my card base and layers ready to add the computer.
I then build up the SVG cut file of the computer and keyboard. I stamped my sentiment on the computer screen before it was all put together.
Once this was done I put the card all together. I kept it simple and let the computer do all the talking!
