Hi All,
Nicole here to share a fun and colourful project using the new card blanks from Papermilldirect. I used the following on this card:
- Papermilldirect A6 Yellow Greeting card
- Papermilldirect Ivory Card Smooth
- Papermilldirect Smooth White card
- Papermilldirect Ruby Red Card
- Patterned Paper
- Simply Betty Stamps June Fairy
- Stardust Stickles glitter
I coloured my image in blacks, yellows, reds, and creams. So I matched the image with a range of Papermilldirect card to coordinate this, with a splash of patterned paper to pull it all together. I added a lot of glitter on the wings, because there had to be glitter somewhere on a fairy!
I love how this colour combination came out, I don't often work with these colours, but the shades of them in the Papermilldirect range go so well together it made it very easy. I am really working on trying to challenge myself on the colours I am using lately and this was definitely a challenge! Do you have a favourite colour combo? Share it with me and let me see how you use it!
