Hi all,
Nicole here today to share a bright and colourful birthday card idea. I used some vibrant Papermilldirect colours combined with bright patterned paper to make this a fun celebration. I used:
- Papermilldirect Mandarin Orange card
- Papermilldirect Ocean Blue card
- A6 Ocean Blue Card base
You can see my supplies gathered in the image below. I also ended up using a balloon die, but forgot to include that in this image.
I layered the orange card onto the blue card base. I die cut a circle from the patterned paper and stamped my sentiment through this. I then added some balloons over this die cut from the Ocean Blue card so that it matched the card base perfectly.
I matched this card with a Papermilldirect coloured envelope too, the Lustre Pearlised Yale Blue went perfectly. For the balloons I simply drew in the strings, but you could add them in with twine if you wanted to add a bit more dimension.
