Classic Christmas Colour Combo

Red with gold is a classic Christmas colour combination. I’ve used a selection of beautiful red card stock on my project today, accented with matte gold foiling.

I began by cutting a panel of Red Fever Sirio Pearl Double Sided card. I foiled, in matte gold, a Christmas glimmer plate from Spellbinders. This foiled perfectly on this card.

I used the coordinating die to cut it out, then foiled a sentiment from the same Spellbinders glimmer set.

Next, I chose two different red cards and a gold, and used the coordinating die to get the same shape. I offset layered these underneath the foiled piece to get a pretty border effect.

I adhered the panels to my card, then added some strips of the same card under the sentiment, to tie everything together.
