Good Morning.
I love making bright and colourful cards and today we have this adorable monster birthday card.
The products I used are:
You will also need:
- Monster stamps ( Out of this world Uniquely Creative)
- White Embossing Powder (WOW)
- Copic Markers
- Distress Ink
- Sponge
To start with I used a piece of White Card Super Smooth 300gsm which I trimmed down, scored and folded in half for my card base. I then trimmed down another piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm that will be used for the ink blending.
I used some bright distress inks for the background and I started by gently adding the colours and then blending them together with the sponge. Its very easy to do using White Card Super Smooth 250gsm as it blends like butter.
After this was dry I heat embossed the sentiment using white embossing powder and adhered this to my card base using Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.
I then stamped and coloured my images onto some more White Card Super Smooth 250gsm and cut them out. I then placed them onto my card using some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.
Don't be afraid to try different coloured inks when making your background. The White Card Super Smooth 250gsm is fantastic for blending inks and pigment inks are also a dream to blend.
I hope you have fun making a bright card and use any colour you like for the backgrounds. Its so fun and easy to do.
