Vicki blue parrots

Good morning, Vic popping in today with a fun critter card.

Products I used:

New Turquoise Card 250gsm

Apple Green Card Plain 240gsm

Daffodil Plain Card 290gsm

Spring Green Plain Card 240gsm

Black Plain Card 240gsm

Red Plain Card 240gsm

Raspberry Pink Plain Card 240gsm

Soft Berry Pink Plain Card 240gsm

Kraft Materica Card 250gsm

Buff Smooth Card 260gsm

I also used:

Spellbinders dies (May Die of the Month 2024 kit)

Hot foiling machine

Using a piece of New Turquoise Card 250gsm I created a card base. I then used another piece of New Turquoise Card 250gsm for my card panel which I adhered onto my card base. I then die cut some leaves using different green colours.

I then used the above colours of card to make my birds. I wanted the birds to be bright and colourful. Once my birds were made I then added my leaves to the centre of the card and adhered them down using some foam tape. I then added my birds to the card.

Next I used a piece of Kraft Materica Card 250gsm and hot foiled my sentiment onto this piece of card. I trimmed the sentiment down and -laved this onto my card using foam tape.

Your card is now complete. The die cutting will take up some time but I think it’s worth it as the birds look really cute, if you have time it’s always worth making a couple extra just so you have them ready for if you need any die cuts.
