Hello, it’s Angela here to share a Birthday card idea with you - taking inspiration from the lovely autumnal colours of the papermilldirect card stocks and teaming them with a cute fox stamp.
Stamp the fox onto PMD Ivory Hopsack card using black memento ink and colour in with alcohol markers. Cut out image using rectangle dies and mat onto slightly larger rectangles of buff card and maroon card.
Score and fold A4 maroon card in half and trim down to create a 15cm square card blank. Emboss a 14cm square of mandarin orange card using a textured embossing folder and adhere to card front using d/tape.
Die cut a circle of Ivory hopsack card and adhere to card front. Add layered fox panel using 3D foam pads. Stamp a sentiment using black ink onto a rectangle of buff card and add to top right of fox panel.
Cut a wavy strip of dark green card and cut into fringing using scissors. Adhere across lower part of card front using d/s tape and trim edges flush with card edges.
Use strong d/s tape to adhere green and white ribbon along the ‘grass’ and also add a looped ribbon to top right of card front. Decorate card front with green and orange adhesive gems.
Using the hopsack card gives great texture and means you need to do very little colouring to the fox image, leaving the chest eyes and tip of the tail.
