Good morning.
Today I have this sweet thank you card to share with you.
The products I used are:
- Ice Gold Pearlised Card 300gsm
- White Card Hopsack 255gsm
- Navy Plain Card 240gsm
- White Card Super Smooth 250gsm
- Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm
- Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml
You will also need:
- Thank you die
- Animal stamps
- Copic markers
- Pink pigment ink and sponge
- White embossing powder
- Heat gun
- Sequins
- Nuvo drops
To make the card base I trimmed down a piece of White Card Hopsack 255gsm to 4 1/4 and scored this in half. I then cut down another piece and gently added some pink pigment ink around the edges of the card. I then adhered this onto my card base using Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.
I then stamped my images onto a piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm and coloured them in with my copic markers. I then cut them out and adhered them onto the card using some more Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.
I then used a piece of Ice Gold Pearlised Card 300gsm and die cut the greeting thank you. I adhered this onto my card using some Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml.
I then added a greeting which I heat embossed onto a piece of Navy Plain Card 240gsm using white embossing powder. I trimmed this down and adhered onto my card base with Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml.
To finish the card off I added some sequins and nuvo drops.
I love adding pigment ink to card especially the beautiful textured White Card Hopsack 255gsm as it really brings the texture out.
I hope you enjoy making a sweet thank you card.
